2011 Austin BELL Camp Day 7

Today was the seventh day of BELL Camp. In blindness lesson students learned about Cardinal Directions. In Reading student worked with Beach Ball Braille games. In Writing students worked with Pop-a-Cell materials to practice slating skills. In Nonvisual students tried to determine the pictures Max drew in Braille. In Extra Curricular students finished the Splatter Art Project.

For a field trip BELL Camp went to Kidz N Play, where they had a great time jumping on inflatable bounce machines. We had McDonalds for lunch. Students ended the day with BELL Ringers. One student shared that she had a great time at the Bounce House, and another was proud of their time in writing class. Tomorrow’s tease is: We’ve got musical visitors!
