Convention Arrangements

Registration

In order to receive the convention rates, you must register with the convention. Registration is located in the hotel lobby, and will be open at the following times:

• Friday, October 22 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
• Saturday, October 23 from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Those of you who have pre-registered can pick up your convention materials at the registration desk. We will strictly adhere to the above schedule in order for registration volunteers to be on time to all meetings.

Child Care

Child Care will be held on the lobby level. If you wish to take advantage of this service, you must sign up in the registration area during registration hours.

Hospitality

On Friday, October 22, beginning at 5:00 PM, there will be hospitality in the Longhorn Ballroom C. Refreshments will be served, and a cash bar will be available. Other than beverages purchased at the cash bar, there is no charge for this event.

Door Prizes

Yolanda Garcia will be serving as Door Prize chairperson. Those of you who have door prizes to turn into Yolanda should do so at your earliest opportunity. All prizes must be turned in no later than Saturday morning and should be labeled in print and Braille.

In order to win a door prize, you must be registered with the convention and be present in the room when your name is called.

Banquet and Social

The Banquet will begin at 7:00 PM on Saturday evening. Tickets for this event are $40 and may be purchased at the convention registration area during registration hours. No tickets will be sold after 1:00 PM on Saturday.

There will be a social immediately following the banquet. Admission to this event is free.
