Attend the National Federation of the Blind STEM2U program, a transformative day of discovery designed for blind youth. They will learn fundamental nonvisual tools and techniques for science, technology, engineering, and math to boost their education and career aspirations.
This opportunity offers your child:
• Blind role models
• Accessible experiments
• Hands-on skills instruction
In collaboration with the Center of Science and Industry (COSI), we will become astronomers through the study of astrophysics and engineering! Join us to build models of the James Webb space telescope, learn about the Earth’s atmosphere, discover why the Webb was sent to space, and explore how it studies space.
Join the NFB of Texas on Saturday, May 18 at the Houston Museum of Natural Sciences. For more information contact Emily Gibbs at egibbs@nfbtx.org. To learn more and apply visit nfb.org/stem2u.
