For 2013 the goal for the Arlington Chapter will be reaching out to those who are in need of our support & guidance as well as reaching out to the public to increase awareness about blindness and the blind. COMMITTEES/PROGRAMS
FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
we need your skills to help raise money for the NFB Scholarship program, Braille Literacy projects, and for the Chapter.
OUTREACH PROGRAM
we need talented people who enjoy public speaking; visiting with blind people who have difficulties with travel; advocating; teaching & supporting Braille Literacy, etc. This program shall be designed by those who enjoy helping others.
BRAILLE MENTORING
Come by the Arlington Central Library, 101 East Abrams Street in Arlington. Our mentors are able and willing to meet you by arranging the time and day in advance.
