The National Federation of the Blind of Texas awards scholarships to the best and brightest blind students each year at its state convention. Interested students must be legally blind residents of Texas who plan to participate in a post-secondary course of study by the fall of 2017. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence, and community service. We invite members and non-members alike to apply for these awards

To apply for National Federation of the Blind of Texas scholarships, complete and submit the online form, and all other required documents, no later than August 15, 2017. All required attachments should be sent to the NFBTX Scholarship Committee at 1600 East Highway 6, Suite 215, Alvin, TX 77511. You may also e-mail the committee at scholarships@nfbtx.org.
