Confidence, Leadership, Advocacy, and Social Skills (CLASS) Mentoring Program

The CLASS Mentoring Program is a regional program focused in the Rio Grande Valley. It is designed to mentor blind youth to help them develop their confidence, leadership, advocacy, and social skills. Through a variety of monthly activities and workshops, participants gain valuable skills and experiences that help them navigate their lives with greater independence and success.

Confidence: Youth will develop trust in themselves when overcoming challenges.

Leadership: Youth will make decisions using abilities they have developed.

Advocacy: Youth will recognize their needs and defend their rights.

Social Skills: Youth will engage in community experiences strengthening their independence skills.

CLASS events are held in the Rio Grande Valley, welcoming youth from birth to 22 years of age and their families.
